  DCS have a central corer staff who co-ordinate the  activities of the service.  This central core of staff will carry out the administration functions, so that when, for example,  Social Services rings in to request a panel member the DCS staff will allocate the work to the most appropriate person out of those registered.
• There will also be a much greater number of people who are registered with DCS who are our consultants and will be called upon as and when they are needed.
  

DCS is realistic about how much money is available from Social Services and Health.  It will charge a flat rate of £8 per hour for any consultations, as at present.

DCS will be able to negotiate an annual package charge for all services required via a service level agreement.
