I have been working for the last 7 years on community and volunteer base projects. Now free lance support to projects who are setting themselves up as social firms or CIC's. I then worked as an office clerk for just under 10 years carrying out bookkeeping and filing tasks. I have been in the British Red Cross for over 20 years doing first aid duties within the organisation and also a volunteer doing fundraising for the MRI appeal @ WIRRAL HOSPITALS, Kathy's Ice Maker Challenge raising funds for automatic ice cube dispensers, and earlier for the pain relief foundation.

Background: I am in a wheelchair and have a degree in combined sciences from Lancaster University. Whilst at university I sat on the council as the Disabled Students Officer (2003 - 2004). Since I came back I have been a temporary IT assisstant at Birkenhead Sixth Form College (2006) and a volunteer IT assisstant at Cambridge Road Daycenter (2007) before starting work at the DCS (2007 - present).
